Study Abroad

If you are interested in studying abroad, you must first collect information.
Which country do I want to go to?
What do I want to study?
What is my purpose for going abroad to study?
Which country do I want to go to?

Research method:
Foreign legations in Japan (foreign embassy or consulates) generally have a section dealing with study abroad and education. This is a good place to begin your search for information. (Some places also provide a voice command consultation service)

Fulbright Japan (The Japan-United States Educational Commission) (Study in the U.S.)
The commission was established to promote mutual understanding between Japan and the U.S. through the Fulbright Program. In addition to administering the Fulbright Program, the Commission operates an Educational Information Service (EIS) providing information on study and research opportunities in Japan and the U.S..

Council on International Educational Exchange, Japan (U.S and other countries)
This organization is an authorized NGO aimed at promoting international exchange through education and the deepening of mutual understanding between peoples of the world. There is also a reception where you can register for the TOEFL examination.

Association of International Education, Japan (All countries)
Originally an affiliate of the Ministry of Education and universities, this association carries out activities to promote Japan's international exchange.
