Test
of Japanese teaching skills aimed at potential and present Japanese
teachers. This test will evaluate whether or not one has reached
the standard level required for Japanese teaching specialists.
It is held once a year around December.

Test |
This
test measures the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers.
It is possible to take this test in both Japan and abroad. Application
forms are available from major bookstores. It is held once a
year around December.

is the first business Japanese test officially recognized by
the government.

This
is the most popular English test in Japan.
This test has five levels from fifth grade to first grade.
It is held three times a year.

| Test for Tourist Guide |
This test can
be sit in several language: French, Spanish, German Chinese,
Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Korean. This is a national
examination run by the transportation administration. On passing
this test, certification as a guide using a foreign language
will be provided by the prefectural government in which the
test was taken. The first test is to measure language proficiency
and the third tests knowledge of history, geography, politics,
economics etc. This test is held once a year.

Kaoshi) |

the only test for non-native Chinese (Han) speakers recognized
by the Chinese education administration. It is a national test
