Japanese Language Classes
Japanese language classes are conducted by volunteer staff.(50 yen/ lesson)
Japanese language classes (Easy Japanese) are taught by qualified Japanese teachers as part of the “Touching the Heart of Japan” courses (3,000 yen for 3 months/12 classes)

Touching the Heart of Japan–Culture Courses
Culture courses offered: The Way of Tea, (Non-Japanese:3,000 yen for 3 months/12 classes)

Books and Newspapers
The library houses many books and materials on Japan and Kyoto, as well newspapers, magazines, dictionaries and picture books from around the world.

To Seek Assistance
Legal and visa consultation services are available. Receive free advice from qualified professionals.
Places to Seek Assistance
Volunteer staff at the Information Service Counter are available to answer your questions and provide information on a wide variety of topics including sightseeing and accommodation.
General living information is also available over the telephone.

Convenient Information Services
Domestic and International fax available for a fee.
Private video booths are available for watching videos recorded on PAL or SECAM systems.
Internet service available for a fee.
